Was looking forward to this but I’m not in love with the style of the book and the way it’s written.

Premise just seems weird af icl

As enjoyable as this book is, it’s basically just smut and vibes. It has a concept of a plot, but not much happens. I can’t in good conscience rate it anything above a 3. So rating a 2.75/5 starts

Interesting premise but the execution is just a bit weird to me

Been on my TBR for awhile and was a fun read. Enjoyed it. I also loved the unconventional family dynamics. It was cute

This book takes insta love to the extreme imo. There’s also not much of a personality between the MCs and there’s not much to the FMC. Her reason for why she’s keeping her phd a secret from a family is also so ridiculous. Might DNF it here

Getting to the third act breakup and omggg does it suck. I just think it doesn’t make sense here and is unnecessary

I’ve gotten to the amnesia plot and I’ve remembered why I don’t read or watch anything with an amnesia plot line. I hate them so much, so I’m just gonna DNF it here. It’s just not for me

So disappointed by this book, especially towards the end. She should have made him work harder. I was so pissed.

I got really annoyed that he didn’t even give her a chance to explain herself. I hate MCs like this, like communicate. You’re a freaking 43 year old man. Give her the benefit of doubt

Was enjoying it but I don’t think I can continue reading another book where the plus size girl hates herself. As someone who’s been there, i don’t need to read it and watch her self sabotage. I thought she wouldn’t struggle with herself as much because she’s a plus size model, but nope

It’s also so annoying that this man refuses to COMMUNICATE to the FMC that he’s in love with her. Like bro open your mouth and speak. It’s frustrating

I really hate when they act like the FMC doesn’t have other options when she finds out she’s pregnant. It kind of ruins it for me and makes me think the authors conservative

The truth is, no one is going to love you and nothing anyone says is going to make you love you, if you don’t choose to love yourself. You’re going to be very miserable if you don’t decide to give yourself that love

This book is making me so emotional. Not because it’s bad or particularly emotional, but I used to be like Maisie. The lack of self confidence and self love and that feeling of being alone. Makes me sad. It reminds me of when I was like that, and I hate that another person feels like that, even though it’s fictional.

I don’t think I have it in me to deal with another irrational breakup and miscommunication. What is it with these guys in these books just being straight up ridiculous and irrational. It’s pissing me off

I was enjoying it up onto this point where they had their fight and he gave her an ultimatum. He didn’t even TRY to see it from her pov or understand her past experience and stuff. It just ruined it for me. The fact that his sisters and the other girls had to sit him down and explain it to him like a child has ruined him for me.
