I think I just hate finished this book. I really just didn’t jive with it but wanted to finish it

This just hasn’t been my favorite read. I’ve enjoyed some parts of it, especially the beginning but I just started skimming it towards the end. I’m not in love with the MCs and maybe I dont rly like them an that’s why this book is just not that enjoyable for me

My main gripe with this book is that a lot of this trauma, tension and resentment just can’t possibly be resolved in 3 days. I don’t understand how the MMC quickly forgave his parents and Darren. He also needs to hold his brother more accountable, like he’s clearly an asshole imo. Also the FMCs dad actually being dead was shocking to say the least

Enjoyed this so much. And loved reading a book where the FMC was Indian. It was a welcome change from all the white romance books

Stopped reading when they’re having their third act breakup. It’s just ridiculous and I can’t go further. The book isn’t that good for me to care that much. Not a bad book but also not in love with it

Would have been a 4 stars but the ending really ruined it for me. Even though it worked out in the end, her reporting herself rly pissed me off and I just can’t come back from that. Even though it’s obviously the right thing to do, no flawed human being is going to do something like that. Otherwise it wasn’t bad and I’m rating it a 3.75/5⭐️

Enjoyed it so far but the FMC is loosing me with her choices. Like why tf would you rat on yourself? For what reason? Like bro wth. This shit is pissing me off sm. I can’t continue reading this shit

I enjoyed this so much. It was such a fun read. Rating a 4/5 stars because of enjoyment. Just love to read about a couple in love

I don’t even know what to rate this book. I guess it’s a 3/5. The books not great but also not bad. It’s a cute romance but I feel like it needed some more development or editing idk

This book is really giving conservative republicans country small town vibes.
FMC didn’t even pretend to consider her options when she got pregnant with a random ass mans baby. Like pls let’s be smart and actually think about the pros and cons. Obvi not the only reason I say it’s conservative.
I thought I could get past the conservative vibes but it’s ruining it for me a bit.

This is another reminder that I just can’t get into historical books and struggle with them

Enjoyed this book but i think we’re just about to find out soon that the MMC dated the FMCs surer in college… I don’t do shit like this. And he’s not even communicating it to her. I know this is about to become a big miscommunication thing were he’s aware and she’s not. Like there’s no excuse atp for why he can’t just tell her now.

Like the man is actually a monster and it’s not cute. There’s no excuse. How can you fall in love with a man that is HUNTING your people and will never truly love you once he realises what you are?!!! This is a horror imo lol

Reminded that I don’t like a romance where the MMC is actively hunting down the FMC and her people. It’s actually gross and especially the way they do it is vile. It’s not cute and we need to stop calling this romance. An oppressed and oppressor romance will never be good. It’s inherently flawed imo. I can understand why it’s popular but I hate that part of the book, and it’s the main aspect

Just read the synopsis for the 2nd book and now I’m mad I don’t realise it was a series before I read the first book. Why does it seem like it’s gonna lowkey be a triangle? And the Dean is gonna turn out to be the bad guy and betray her? And she’s gonna end up with the brother? I can’t do this shit… I hope that’s not true.
I also HATE a cliffhanger ending with a passion.

Surprisingly enjoys this. Haven’t read a proper fantasy in awhile so was nice to get back into it. The FMC wasn’t the most likeable and was very annoying and childish at times, but I guess maybe it was relatable.

DNFing here. I don’t think I actually have the mental capacity to continue this book. I don’t like any of the MCs and don’t care about their relationship. I thought I’d be able to power through and just finish the book but I remembered that I don’t force myself to do things I don’t want to do
