I love old ladies.

That chapter had me a little choked up.

I wanted to sit down and read more of it yesterday - but I ended up falling asleep as soon as I got home.

However, I just sat down and read an incredibly interesting chapter that reflects on patriarchy. This book truly feels like a work of art.

I finished part two in one sitting.

The chapters I just read were very interesting and thought provoking - particularly around death. As someone who is very existential, I found ‘Rain’ very comforting.

I’m going to be honest - I only picked this up because Florence Pugh is in the film adaption and she is my favourite actress. However, I enjoyed the first chapter.

I installed it on my phone to be my read for while I’m waiting around for things when out.

Finally finished Genesis - and I am really enjoying this book so far!

Once again couldn’t read as much as I wanted to - but I was very engrossed in Johnny’s story. Very compelling and very tragic.

Tried to read all of Genesis - but I started too late in the evening and now I’m too tired to continue.

It’s interesting to read about spirituality from a non-Western point of view. There’s probably a ton of people who will read this comment and rightfully facepalm - but this is my first time doing so and it’s a new perspective to me.

The anti-capitalist angle in I’d also cool! Can’t wait to read more!
