I like the love thrill in the first part cause of the hate to love development. The second part where the main character went to adventure I kinda not fan of it. I think it just messed up the story.

I was expecting so much on this second book. Nathaniel didn't really learn new tricks as a magician. I feel sorry for Bartimaeus for having Nathaniel as his master. I thought their partnership will be better and that they will train together in order to outsmart the others

I have the 3rd book of this, yes I will continue reading.
