I felt like I was getting the groove of the story and then part two hit and now I am totally confused. No idea what’s going on.

This is gonna be a quick binge read. So far I think it paints a very realistic portrait of being raised by an absent low income single parent. For as hard hitting as the subject matter is it is delivered with Jennette McCurdys candid and blunt humor which makes it a fun read.

This has definitely been a fantastic expansion to “Bunny”. I think the author has developed so much in her writing and found such an interesting way to write a sequel and expand on her idea and story while also acknowledging that “Bunny” was an earlier publishing and lacked some of the structure, depth, and comprehension she has now. Overall I am locked in and have no idea how this is going to end.

I’m going to be so for real with yall… I don’t think I can finish this book.

I’ve been listening to this while walking at the gym and I’ll probably end up finishing it but so far I’m not the biggest fan of the feeble frail oppressed powerless women vibes which I get the reasoning for but Kates POV particularly irritates me.

First time trying out an audio book! Not sure how I feel about listening to a narrator…

So close to finishing! 2 more hours left!
I’m curious what the ending will hold, I’m expecting some plot points to be revealed soon. 👀
