We get it ur a nerd. stop referring to things by their "level"

why was this book 1054 lines long

i really wish the characters were more clear. i had to google who everyone was and what side they were on like 10 times (though that's a given with literature from several thousand years ago)

whoops. odyssey* meant to say fitzgerald's translation of the odyssey on my last update

i think fitzgerald's translation of the iliad might just have been the most boring thing ever because this translation uses some complex language but in an engaging way like i genuinely enjoy it (hate the dude who wrote the intro tho. he's different from the translator but he was blatantly racist and misogynistic)

finally switched to the correct edition, yay

Just finished book 2, dear God I hated the part where it was just. People on people on people on people on people. It's just like reading the book of Numbers all over again.
