this is way less in-your-face compared to no longer human, so i really need to slow down to understand all of the metaphors and commentary dazai's using/making. also, while i think yozo is a more complicated character (and i like him more even though he is quite awful), i don't see much misogyny with how kazuko is written. she's js a bit... shallow? so far? she has little written about her own outlook on the world
