When Morley slayed the four Pyrnaq that Roftome had helped free, it felt wrong and evil. This changed how I feel about the series, and I was t sure I wanted to keep reading.

Ecstasy is a dangerous drug. A once off use could be harmless, however if it isn’t pure and is cut with other drugs and substances (majority of the time it is), then it can cause problems. It isn’t something that is harmless, and shouldn’t be treated as such.

Possibly a good story, however in need of a good edit and proofread. I cannot continue reading.

Up to chapter 14 and the events are confusing, not making sense with what happened in the first trilogy. It’s frustrating.

Overall interesting, however the whole failing eyesight, aches and pains thing makes it seem like she is 65 rather than 45. It’s laid on a little too thick.

I’m totally immersed in this world! The writing is excellent and the story line relevant to our society today as well. The characters are awesome, and I have a feeling I won’t be doing anything else until I finish reading the book.

Sami is growing into her own, creating a snarky, sarcastic headache for her poor father. I’m greatly enjoying the series, and am interested to see what happens next.

Zoe and Aric continue with their lives, but evil just won’t let them be. We see old faces, and a different solution to the problem.

The technical jargon and explanations were a bit too detailed and tedious: we didn’t need quite so much detail. Same with arcane knowledge: too many details, making it harder to follow the actual story.

Though it is an interesting story, I’m finding it a tad tedious so am unsure if I will finish it.

So many new concepts!

Excellent mystery, with awesome tech and an interesting rescuee. I'm sure there are clues for future books in the series I've missed and will go, "Aha..." at a future time. Definitely a good read!

Well.... Not our team. I'm enjoying the unfolding of the main characters and the introduction on new ones. I'm impressed that Ell is doing such an awesome job as a new author. Also, DEFINITELY read the author notes! Highly entertaining. This promises to be another excellent side bar in the Kurtherian universe.

Perfect collaboration

This book is perfectly balanced, with now awkwardness to show that more than one author wrote it. Michael has found an amazing way to co-author books so they are seamless.

As usual, the story moves well and the writing is excellent. So exciting to read!

I REALLY dislike that Aria is expected to be mature and wait on Cedric, when he's decades older and the one in the wrong. It's sexist and condescending. Apart from this, I've mostly been enjoying the book. Captive and Red Angel are a bit simplistic in the character and plot development but it's a good story overall.

I'm not finishing this one. All the abbreviations are tedious and it is a frustrating storyline.

I'm finding the story relying on dizzying non-stop action more than a good plot. It feels as though Bella didn't take as much time with this as with the precious books in the series. A tad disappointing.

Full of action and very enjoyable. Can't wait for the ext book to be published.
