Does Doris not realize she is also a heathen? 😂😂😂😂

It’s taking longer to read bc I find a name that I don’t recall and need more context so I’ve been going back and forth with previous books to come back and read Goon II. Menace is still a Menace but Goon is also a menace behind Zoya

Wah ain’t shi for bringing up the Mexico trip. Then mad at Arika for being bothered by it.

I love how Andre’s father told him the truth about what he deserves from being with Celestial while Roy was in prison.

Celestial and Andre; wild to say the least. Her daddy is definitely right.

Andre calling Celestial a widow bc her husband was incarcerated is wild!

Oh, so they cracking backs out the gate.

I’m about to add this to my DNF list. I’m in chapter 7 and still like what the hell am I reading. Can’t say it’s a bad book but it’s definitely not holding my attention

The interaction between Menace and Don
"Mens, you sick?"
"You wishing death on me, Don?"
I chuckled. "Nah, never that. Just ain't never heard you sound so choked up, pussy."
He snorted. "Why you hate my son, Don?"
"Menace, the fuck you chatting about?"
He sighed into the phone, as I sat on the edge of a lounge chair. "Dennis told me he felt some kind of way." had me crying laughing

Emotional roller coaster indeed. I didn’t expect Judge Stone to let Bria go but I definitely agreed with it

So her mom wasn’t dead after all, but she had literally replaced her. She had a whole new child with someone else and named that girl Annie Kay also. Ani spent her whole life looking for a woman that did not care about her and moved on and replaced her with another child +2. My heart hurts for her and the marriage between Franklin Vernice feels very weak and fake. I also don’t like Franklin‘s mama.

Annie did all this just to find our her mom died a month before she decided to walk to her door. Poor Annie
