Wow this is a big ole book. So far the refresher has been good for me--and I am able to answer all the sample questions. Of course i haven't hit MATH yet!

p 100 of 868. This was MY 8th grade Georgia History Book. Not a bad read or a hard read but the book weighs so much it is hard to hold onto!! Ihave to balance it on a pillow in my lap to read the huge old thing!

Beautiful and courageous, after the suicide of her beloved son Clark, she examines her whole life. She writes very elegantly, as elegantly as she sings. This book is uncomfortable for me at times, yet so hauntingly beautiful.

Thorough information on Georgia agriculture in this book. It is like an encyclopedia on all livestock and produce raised in Georgia since prehistoric times. Covers every aspect of Georgia from colonial times to slavery to the Depression to politics as how it relates to farming and agriculture....and a few recipes along the way. Big book with very small print.

Looking forward to learning more about The South and Georgia in particular during the American Revolution. I know little about this. This is a fiction book by former President Jimmy Carter.

Finally making time for this wonderful book on the Chief Vann House in Springplace, GA.

Harley and I are both reading this book. It is strange when your almost teen is sharing books with you..... AND reads faster than you do.

Awesome book for those of us who love 30A. A gem.

Getting into the groove and the format and the history of Georgia agriculture (1998)

One of those books I always intended to read and never did... so here we go this afternoon!!

I LOVE this book. You will too if you are a child of the 1970s.

Lyrical like a drink of the purest prose water. This writer draws you into every one of her characters. She obviously loves them and then, you love them as well. I am so glad I recently discovered this author.

So far so good.

Slow going but satisfying reading. This era is history is so tragic yet so intriguing. This book really does show a whole new light and informative look at the beloved father of Anne Frank, Otto.

It is dragging. Paid for it and will finish it. Ready to move on to something else.

Halfway point! Better than I recall as a preteen.....
