Why do I feel so close towards Bonnie

Every time I read this book all I do is cry.

This is actually one of the books that made me cry after reading a few chapters in.

Liek legit over sa iyak ang babae after mamatay nung mom ni Mariam and how her father betrayed her. I felt so heartbroken for her:(

Ang intense ng feeling ko for this book, and the fact that this is the reality for women in Afghanistan. I remember that one speech na a cat has more freedom compared to a woman :(

Pero dun sa part na ginawan ni Sam si Sadie is so 🥺💔😢😞 like whaaat 😞 (oa) pero ayun sana maging maayos na sila.

You know what’s wrong with Sadie? It’s that she makes decisions and stands on them when it’s good, and when it benefits her (I guess) pero when things are bad, she blames Sam. like I’m so annoyed sakanya sa part na ‘to 😭

Ang interesting niya ngl

Was a slow read at first for me and I found it boring nung una pero I got so hooked on eventually and had a hard time putting it down

On a reading slump rn when it comes to this book parang ang hirap tapusin what the helly

So far the book has been nothing but amazing. I really like the writing style of the author. When it comes sa book talaga tangina nakakapikon yung magulang nila like hindi ba dapat number one priority niyo ay safety and wellbeing ng mga anak niyo wtf
