Every time I read this book all I do is cry.

This is actually one of the books that made me cry after reading a few chapters in.

Liek legit over sa iyak ang babae after mamatay nung mom ni Mariam and how her father betrayed her. I felt so heartbroken for her:(

Ang intense ng feeling ko for this book, and the fact that this is the reality for women in Afghanistan. I remember that one speech na a cat has more freedom compared to a woman :(

Naiiyak ako gago

The fact that this is the reality for most women in Afghanistan saddens me.
