this is such a drag why do i read historical texts, i fear it is just torment myself into boredom

reading this has solved a question i had from the main series purr i love it im having so much fun reading this one

i like this it's nice and fast paced, however the constant repeating of the phrase 'the smell of unwashed bodies' is a little bit grating. not a big bother just a note

there are three separate plot lines happening at once and right now i only really care about two of them so it's a little tedious but im anticipating this having a deeper purpose later on

holy shitballs oh my god this is so intense i feel like im watching an action movie

yes chaol supremacy although i'm still a little weary of nehemia

Huzzah! a pronunciation guide!

oh my god i am loving this so much?!! i wasn't certain at first, fantasy can be hard to get into with all the new words and names that i cant decipher how to pronounce but this is like a fantasy x merlin x antihero x murder mystery x hunger games combination that is so fantastic and easy to follow and well written in such a brilliant style !!!

not loving the writing of this one just yet, ali dont let me down pls

oh my god this might just be the most irritating annoying narrator i have ever experienced. she seems sweet but if i have to hear one more gay buzzword im going to shoot myself

honestly mid asf so far butIi feel like I would have enjoyed it more as a baby gay, I think i'm too old for it.

this book is like dragging a corpse through molasses up a mountain with a vertical ascent. i read this on the bus when i know someone is looking over my shoulder to look smart

lots of words that i cannot fathom how to pronounce so i am relieved that i do not have to read this book aloud

characters kinda lacking personality. I feel like i'm missing context but trying to bypass that and just enjoy the story

this is so tedious

i already know it ends terribly but i might just stop reading before the bit i don't like

i read trashy romance and have zero regrets
