is her power the ability to decline any transaction requests like a credit card company

“why is it always like this? why can’t i be normal?” feeling this hard at the moment

anytime a male character is introduced in this book, i just sigh and add a new shooting target to my fictional gun range

we have to start bringing out the electric chair

there isn’t going to be anything left of that old man once i hunt him down

in what world would you refer to your mom as omoni??

another shooting target has entered the villa

eunhye’s favorite color was pink?… and dahye makes a habit of wearing pink undergarments?… either the book is getting weird or i am

i’m barely through the first chapter, but if i shot junyoung every time he said some stupid ass misogynistic shit, he’d already be looking like human swiss cheese.

another fuck you to seungri and the korean justice system

“the life she sought was bigger than that. she had aspirations that were neither domestic nor romantic. she wanted a life that had meaning beyond the walls of a home, no matter how agreeable. satisfaction for her, she realized, could come only from service to a cause greater than herself, greater even than the man whom she held so dear.”

“why must she give way? why not he give way to hers?” exactly, alice. break up with charlie and fight for what you believe in!

“all alice had to do was water the narcissus blossom and the young lady’s loathing would surely flower.”

yumi, my manifesting queen

ihosen? as in seoul subway line 2?

chapter 35 is diabolical

my god, i didn’t think brandon sanderson could surprise me again but here we are… the old dog still got it… chuckling in disbelief as we speak

i’m such a nerd that i genuinely need to understand the inner workings of these floating trees. someone, please, explain!

liyun, you’re (lowly) unbelievable

until this part, i was under the impression that yumi was being fed white rice and nothing else. now that i know there’s banchan, i’m feeling very reassured. my korean sister always deserves a proper meal!

every time painter talks about nightmares, all i can imagine is hanami from jujutsu kaisen

tmw your aura is so strong you override the mechanism behind body-swapping

i can see it now, painter defeating nightmares using the power of meditation

the story feels like a k-drama plot from my childhood. i am eating this up.

this story is getting juicy

woah there mister painter edgelord

playing “girls like me don’t cry” by thuy

thank god, the story is finally getting a bit juicy. it truly should not have taken this long.

this is why everyone needs to learn to be okay with being single
