Didn’t realize this was two short stories, and didn’t realize there’s no chapter it just keeps going on and on

This whole book seems like a question that I would be asked in my medical law and bioethics exam and so far I think that the dog couldn’t give informed consent cause well he’s a dog and the person that died has never been told of what will be done with his body so this is just an ethics disaster

This dog is so creepy it’s like raising a teenage son but your son is a dog turned human

Imagine they transplanted a woman’s pituitary gland and somehow the dog started having menstrual cycles with no uterus

The stories of the bees and worms “sensing” the catastrophe that was going to happen and changing their behavior is so interesting, I wonder if their behavior is still “weird” or different than their non-radioactive counterparts

Holy shit this woman had to go through seeing her husband turn into essentially radioactive jello, and her daughter dying from the radioactivity and all she got was an apartment and she was only 23 when it happened
