Getting pretty interesting… multiple layers.. liking it!

Read on my flight a bit today. When I started this I thought I’d read it in an afternoon because it’s not very long. But man, it’s actually a pretty slow read! Her stories of her life are great, she seems like such a fun lady to know! but it’s just slow to get through it all for some reason.

I’m intrigued…..

I might have to shelf this one and come back to it later… since joining Goodreads I’ve found a bunch of other books I’m more excited to read and this one is just not doing it for me right now. It’s such an interesting time period but it’s written about as dry as the dust bowl itself. I need a minute with another book and then I’ll come back and finish. Promise.
