An incredible introduction that immediately pulled me into the story. The writing is accessible, the pacing is fast, and it’s an effortless, enjoyable read without feeling emotionally overwhelming. Despite its strong start, the plot became quite predictable. I found it relied on familiar tropes I’ve already seen in countless books and TV series, so I kept hoping for a more original twist that never really came.

While entertaining, the plot feels familiar, with strong similarities to Harry Potter and Fourth Wing, but without the same depth or writing quality. The romance and overall story are very slow, and many chapters add little to the plot, making it possible to skip sections without feeling lost. It feels like the story was stretched into multiple books when it could have been more engaging as a shorter series.
