I'm not sure whether I am simply not interested in the POV of this teenage boy, or if this book is just boring, but I give up.

Explains why people stick even harder to their beliefs in the face of uncertainty. Not the most entertaining read, but very insightful.

Library book... I'll finish it in a few weeks.

Enjoying the book but lamenting the backward views on interracial dating.

This is a book of short stories, of which I am not a big fan. That said, the title story was awful! I was so disappointed. The second story was a little better, though, about a woman who is unable to have children.

Kudos to Little, Brown and Co. for the high quality paper! That's not something you see very often anymore.

Consciousness is like the CEO of the brain: it leads all of the sub-processes but doesn't necessarily know exactly what they are doing or how they are doing it. Most processes are automatic and only enter our conscious minds when problems occur (or expectations are violated).
