I absolutely hate books that go back and forth in time. I’m going to try to keep reading because I enjoy these characters but it’s such a shitty way to write a book from my perspective.

Listening on audiobook and enjoying.

DNF. I just can’t get into this painfully slow book. The weird manipulation of the characters is off putting.

I don’t like this brother. He was always funny in the other books. He’s just a whiny, asshole in his book.

So many errors and typos in the Kindle version of this book.

Is this going to get better?!? I’m on Chapter 3 and haven’t been able to tolerate Jessica through many of the books but she’s such a whiny bitch. I’m not sure I can finish. I really like Mary Balogh normally but man this one is falling short early on. I need likable characters to stay interested.

I’ve read this author before and liked her books. The conversations in this book are soooooooooooooooo bad and unrealistic. Struggling to continue.

I should have read. It's written in first person. I hate that.

So far it sucks. It was highly recommended. But not my type of book. At all.

This is hard to put down. Stayed up reading way past my bedtime the last few nights. I just REALLY wish he didn't call her girl all the time. It sounds so disrespectful. And he says it so often so it's hard to ignore. Why couldn't his pet name for her be darlin' or something charming? Somehow I missed the first in this series. I'll need to get back to reading that.

LOVING this.

Just finished Get Lucky.I really liked it.My first time to read this author.Sweet with suspense woven through.This is the 9th book in this series but the first I've read.While lots of couples I assume are from earlier books were mentioned & involved I didn't feel I was missing too much but will certainly be looking into the earlier books.I stayed up until 2:15 reading, then finished this morning.

Enjoying it.

Loving this. Can't put it down. I know I'm suppose to probably feel for Harriet and Joe, but I just don't. Maybe that'll change. But running off to get married when you're dating the other sister is horrible.

Read most of it in one day. My favorite KH book so far.

Just laughed out loud when Jane sat down to the piano and played 'Peter, Peter Pumpkin-eater' totally deadpan.

"You may have the shoes gentleman-just so long as you're aware that their contents belong to me." picking up his barefoot wife, he had carried her from the room, while the crowd reacted with laughter and applause. On the way out he took the pink champagne from the waiter saying "We'll take that."
