"Lee's mind sent a convulsive prayer for guidance"
Really enjoyed this line for various reasons

Every character is unlikable

Got a bit annoyed by the authors description of a housewife. Upon inspection can confirm the author is a dude. But maybe I am getting ahead of my self and this is supposed to be a caricature that will unravel

Surely I can't be the only one feeling uncomfortable with broad cultural stereotypes masquerading as whatever this book is peddaling? It baffles me because it's still rated so well. I guess I will continue reading to discover the mysterious koolaid

Friend recommended the podcast but I just can't with podcasts on these topics so will judge the written word instead.

Ok yes I am beggining to dig the storytelling style

Why are the narrators using middle eastern accents pretending that's pashto/Dari?

This book is insufferable and at this point I am only reading it out of pure spite.

The audio immersion tunnel is a gift to mankind

I've become sus of highly rated books or most read books. I am sus of this book too. But I won't be lying, I am hooked so far.

Wtf yo. I wasn't prepared for the length of this book. 57% ONLY?!?!??

Might just as well

Honestly this level of smut in the book (vs book1) is highly unecessary, un needed and not appropriate for me to listen when I am in the middle of a run !!! How I suffered!!

Big smooch to the luxembourg library management that acquired the audiobook in its database a mere week after release.

I am in pain. This is so boring I may have to start chewing on my nails to distract myself. Going to give it a few more chapters to turn things around else DNF

THE TIME HAS NEVER BEEN MORE TIMELY(?) THEREFORE ON THE EVE OF MY TRAVEL TO SK I SHALL PERCOLATE IN RELATED LITERATURE ABOUT LITERATURE (?) THANKYOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THE MATTER.

The vivid imagery of battle sequences are *chefs kiss

Listening to the audio immersion tunnel and OMFG so awesome!

Why do some female authors write their lead female characters as dithering fools.

Why am i not having fun reading this. I better start having fun soon -_-

I last read this in 2015 but never finished the series - by the time the third book released, i had already moved. So here I am 11 years years later doing it all over again. I just hope saima of 2026 enjoys this in equal measure as saima of 2015 did.

A warrior who knits, my my

Oh wow, I kind of love it already
