Dramatic audiobook part 2/2- Poppy & Casteel are my favorite. Their given & take, ability to talk through things is really special. I love that Poppy is strong & fierce but smart. She listens to those around her.

For the love of all things holy PLEASEEEEE give me some character development for this FMC! my god. 65% in and she’s still the least caring, jaded, bull headed person in this book. 🙄😩😪😪

Okay I’ve been devouring this but I don’t like this part. 🙄 why is she either being sarcastic, not answering, and now she’s drunk.

Oops I mean they’re the same author, so she made God of Hercules after this… so it’s like a non shifter version… I hope this FMC isn’t as annoying.

I can’t help but notice how many similarities there are between this and Blood of Hercules (which I didn’t like) & feel like that author took too many things from this book. The FMCs are almost the same. Transporting into a training facility school…homicide voice in her head…wow.

This book is not what I expected. It’s much more emotional & touching that I thought it would be. I really feel for Char, her grief, her guilt, the depression and then not knowing how to fix it & if it’s even fixable. I understand her feelings of self loathing & insecurity after her mistake in what happened. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

So far I like the FMC. She’s understand of Mikaels fears but also not going to let him treat her like crap without calling him out.
