It is frustrating how Peter defends his ex, Genevieve, after a private video leaks. Lara Jean's insecurities feel completely justified due to his mixed signals. I predict that the lack of trust will cause a breakup soon.

Lara Jean and Peter are still fake dating. As they fake date and spend more time around each other, they're becoming better friends. I think that Peter and Lara Jean will keep getting closer and eventually they'll realize they have feelings for each other. "'But, Peter, I have to make these cupcakes for the bake sale-' ... 'Then I'll help you'" (Han 175). This shows that Peter will help Lara Jean and bond with her.

The book has been really good so far. Lara Jean's older sister, Margot, just left for college after breaking up with her boyfriend, whom Lara Jean was once in love with. Lara Jean got herself caught up in some drama when five love letters she wrote got sent out. "What if... what if my other letters somehow got sent out too?" (75) Lara Jean now has to figure out how to steer through all the drama on her own.
