So far I have found this book very interesting because the scenes so far have been very violent and this has been my first brush with a book written in this style.

In the verses of Beowulf that I read today I learned about a king whos palace and people are being attacked by a demon every night and about a very strong hero who gathers men to help him fight the demon.
