I feel like I was a third of the way through the book before it settled into the storyline.

The shout out to Dorceta Taylor (my environmental justice prof) in the intro got me in my feelings. But then I looked up the author and she also used to teach at U of M and then I felt stupid bc that's probably why this was on my TBR shelf in the first place.

Fascinating stuff

I read the introduction & prologue, but I'm returning it to the library for now because I have too many other books to read at the moment.

Not sure how or when this got on my to-read list but we're going for it.

It's easy to be a hater and criticize other people's hard work. I expected this to be more review-style than sassy summary.

Didn't know this is set in Flint, but I'm here for it.
