I really really get distracted when there are typos with names. Is the ex’s name Hayley or Hilary? Assume Hayley since H calls her Hal for short

Hopefully this gets better! She’s a mom with three kids and runs a bookstore. And it seems like her bratty kids are always getting into trouble and she lets them get away with crap. Seriously allowing a rodent, a squirrel to live in your tiny apartment and have a run of the house?

See similarities between this and Leah Brooke's desire, ok series. A few inconsistencies--- described black slacks when exiting plane, but later mentioned a skirt. Deal was 1 month trial as nanny, author mention 4 months had gone by a couple times, but after an argument, she exclaims her month is just over and she'd like to leave. Little things....

Giving the author another chance after reading her debut novel way back when. So far kinda boring and predictable. Figured out the villain pretty much right away. So unless there's a twist or angst, this very well may be a dnf

Using breast instead of plural breasts, unless she only has one. Then instead of than. Sigh, again with some editing this book would be great. Struggling though...

Grammar -- incorrect use of plural, tense you're (you are) instead of your and all the characters thrown at us as if we're supposed to know them. Went back and checked her other works to see if this was part of a series continuation. It's not.

Already struggling with the constant use of breaking (as in broken) instead of braking to stop a motorcycle. Unless author meant while braking the bike became broken. Sigh.
