Setting: In the year 1998, robots all around the world were commercially bought. But in 2003, U.S robots took in all robots from anywhere for only scientific purposes (in Mercury). In the United States Robot laboratory, robots are created and studied. "In 2008, she (Dr. Susan Calvin) obtained her robo-psychologist to study robot behaviors". In conclusion, I Robot is in the US robot laboratory (plus a bit in Mercury).

GENRE: I, Robot is a science fiction novel about stories where robots go mad, read minds, have a sense of humor and even run as politicians. Due to the three laws or axioms of robotics and scientific explanations in the book you can definitely call this book science-y. But, this book takes place in 1998-2007 which isn't when we went to Mars so, it would be very fictional. In conclusion, it's science fiction.

Jazz is broke and failed to get a job. She's lazy and annoying and keeps blabbering on how the rich guys are annoying. She lives in Artemis, a town on the moon. There's a whole scientific explanation on how the air is made and how the company who makes it gets free energy and air and Jazz being the smart one, finds out a way to make it better but she's lazy and doesn't do anything with it. Kelvin is cool though.
