Things evolve kinda fast between Evander and Faelyn, but slow overall in the story. Hmmm

This book has a few surprising twists and turns and I expect a few more down the way. The world building is still fun, even thought some information is knows from the other books, but it's seen from another angle. So it's still engaging.

And, it might be just my impression, but this one feels a bit more romance-heavy than the others. But it might be just me. Evander is quickly becoming my favorite from this series.

Not sure what to think of this one yet. It's a bit difficult to get into it. Even though it's a 1st person narrative, the narrator is so... detached and impersonal. She's telling me what happens, but somehow with no emotional involvement. I don't really know what she actually thinks.

I'm going back and forth between kindle and audiobook with it. I'm curious if my feelings will change as I get further into the story.
