Ch. 3 completed
MC gets taken to interrogation. Interrogation gets hijacked by a guy trying to save his own ass. Flora wakes up, clears his name, and Vanessa walks in on Rio being tortured clearly seeing through the facade. Rio is too beaten to do much and Vanessa tries to find a healer.

Ch. 2 completed
A lot happens. Rio in the far away planet gets her mind merged with Haruto. Rio lives a very slum life and comes across these ladies trying to find someone. Eventually he wanders back to where he’s from and finds the girl they were talking about. He gets attacked, but channels his inner magic and slays. Rio helps the kidnapped girl as best as he can but is falsely suspected of being a perpetrator

Ch. 5 completed
These knuckleheads were trying to clean a chandelier and ended up breaking it. They’re threatened with expulsion unless they can find magic stones to replace the damage they caused. Also they recruit a guy named Deuce.

Ch. 4 completed
Yuya wakes up and gets guided by the ghosts. They’re tasked to do janitorial work outside. Ace is introduced and educates them on “The Great Seven (canon Disney villains not by name)” only afterwards to drop the mask of a friendly face and show his true petty colors. Grim doesn’t like being insulted so picks a fight. Ends with vandalism that they have to make up for. Ghosts educate them more

Prologue and Chapter 1 complete
MC has a childhood bestie that he has to move away from and comes back later. He’s distraught and one day dies from a wreck. There’s something happening far away from earth

Ch. 19 completed
Holy fan service omg. Way to be brazen and lean hard into the fan ficness of this story. I don’t have much to say other than damn. Happy the chapter still ended tho with inquisitive thought.

Ch. 18 completed
The soldiers realize Jinshi and Maomao have gone missing and they try looking for them. Suspicious evidence was found.

Ch. 17 completed
They continue their journey. Lihaku is apparently with them too. Jinshi is being paranoid with his identity and as him and Maomao go somewhere secluded DRAMA ensues. The shippers must've been going wild with this one.

Ch. 16 completed
Jinshi gnabs Maomao back temporarily from Gyokuyou and some silly things ensue. Basically Jinshi got invited to go hunting and they need to keep a low profile and themselves together and Maomao is just coasting.

Spooky stories told. Cult-ish behavior but pretty silly overall

Empress Dowager called Maomao to investigate something of her past convinced she was cursed. Maomao spends 2 days trying to solve it and we learn a lot more about the previous Emperor and his personality alongside Jinshi

Ch. 13 completed
Maomao gets a different room supposedly as punishment but ends up actually being preferable to her. Apparently she got mistaken for Shisui in rumors and was being punished for it. Maomao goes to investigate to confirm her thoughts and it's true but then they see the Empress. After returning back the Empress also visited the Jade Pavilion.

Ch. 12 completed
Maomao, the Emperor, and Jinshi take some time to go through an ancient shrine. The mystery behind it involves color blindness. Her adoptive father also comes up in conversation both with the emperor and the teacher of the newly established school. Xiaolan is trying her best to learn.

Ch. 11 completed
Damn bro that's wild. They kept the sick lady in a shed isolated from everyone else in the Crystal Palace and purposely left her to rot in order to disguise the banned perfumes with the smell of death which Maomao caught. The criminal in question was Lihua's cousin. Wild. Lihua's cousin crashes out and gets slapped by Lihua. Damn.

Ch. 10 completed
Maomao gets summoned back to the clinic. Apparently one of Lihua's maids was sick and she disappeared before she could receive treatment and one of the ladies was very concerned. Maomao basically was asked to help them out. Maomao also got a lizards tail in home she can find a remedy to regrow limbs and potentially life.

Ch. 9 completed
Maomao gets introduced to the clinic and is enamored. On the way back she runs into Jinshi and expresses how there should be a medical office there but it's not possible because women aren't allowed to be doctors and touch medicine.

Ch. 8 completed
Interesting tale about foreigners coming over enchanted from their ancestors last say. Ended up being moths lol. Pretty cool to be dramatic about though tbh it's just a funny story.

Ch. 7 completed
Gyokuyou gets a glass mirror which is kind of a big deal since they usually use copper as mirrors. Gaoshun comes over to pick Maomao’s brain about a supposed impossible pregnancy and she theory crafts on what possibly could’ve happened of course also linking her just now attention of the mirror in with her theory. She receives some medicinal ingredients and is super happy as well. Ox has to wait

Ch. 6 completed
Maomao finishes up the mystery. The real Jin died quite a while ago and there was a bunch of co conspirators involved in the death. She finds the body buried somewhere secluded. The stench that others had been complaining about was from that. Bunch of foreshadowing linked together. Maomao’s mushrooms got confiscated by Gaoshun.

Ch. 5 completed
Rumors slow down thanks to Xiaolan taking her studies seriously. Jinshi also wants to open a school to educate more women and get more valuable people working in the building. Someone died and they're suspected of poisoning Gyokuyo. A scene was made at the ceremony by another lady. There were also rumors about a missing lady.

Ch. 4 completed
Maomao notices a new trend going on that could potentially be dangerous to Gyokuyou's pregnancy. She speculates letting Jinshi and others hear about her thoughts but ultimately it is just speculation. In her down time she is having tea and relaxing but Jinshi shows up doing his thing and takes a stealing sip of her tea annoying her lol

Ch. 3 completed
We get introduced to Shisui- the girl who helped the ladies in the Jade Pavilion earlier catching the cat. She has a niche hobby of drawing insects and Maomao and Shisui surprisingly share similar wavelengths.

Ch. 9 completed
MC does his thing. Fights Beatrix. Wins. Rose runs away after killing her father and gets scouted by Alpha to join Shadow Garden. She will now be "renewed" after agreeing to join.

Ch. 8 completed
MC vs Iris- MC wins obviously. Rose comes over stabs the king and foils the cults plan. MC joins in on the event too.

Ch. 7 completed
MC tries to gauge what the audience thinks of his mystery man impersonation. He slays his match causing a bunch of chatter in the VIP group and the powerful people are cautious of his power

Ch. 6 completed
Chapter is mostly about finding Rose after the stabbing. MC is dramatic with his piano. Beta reveals more of her true character to Rose and Alexia. Rose goes into self isolationist brooding mode. The cult took control of the Oriana King

Ch. 5 completed
Satirical chapter of MC subverting expectations and winning in unassuming ways. Pretty funny.

Ch. 4 completed
Tournament arc. MC wants to enter just because. Rose says some mysterious things and then is accused of stabbing her arranged fiance and gone into hiding. Beta and Alexia look to investigate what's up

Ch. 3 completed
Weird clash off between Epsilon and Beta at the end of the chapter. Whatever. Origins of Delta revealed. Most of the story is MC fighting the enemies from the previous chapter and finishing up that arc. Aurora is apparently Diablos. Bunch of fighting and then some exposition. Nothing super interesting in my opinion.

Yuya and Crowley walk to an abandoned dorm. As Yuya is cleaning Grim comes back and they're haunted by ghosts. They eventually team up to shoo them away and Crowley offers them a deal. Work in exchange for basic necessities in this world until Yuya can find out how to return home.
