Notes: A lot of descriptions of streets and avenues in New York. I understand Child is likely describing to try and keep things realistic, likely using actual streets and geographical locations, however as I don't live in New York, none of this is really relevant to me. In Die Trying it was similar, however that was mostly with states rather than in-depth city detail.
