Martha is reading The English Village: History and Traditions
Did you know that Yew trees were grown in churchyards to make bows, but away from livestock and pets, for whom the fruit is poisonous? And that graveyards have a 'devil's door' on the north side, to let Satan escape and be gone? I now must trek and find evidence of these things. I honestly checked out this book just to exercise my new Raynes Park Library card, but it's really interesting.

Martha is finished with The Girl Who Played with Fire
A little slow in the middle, but picks up at the end. I'm ready to find out what happens to Lisbeth and Mikael in Kicked the Hornet's Nest!
