P21 “If people could die from laughing too hard, I’d be an orphan.” 😂😂😂 And, I’m at a spot where he’s just about to swat some flies off a mule’s rump. Yeah, I’m betting that’s not going to go so well.

Am I enjoying the book? Yes. Am I enjoying it enough to want to read the rest of the series? I’m not sure. I wasn’t looking to get invested in yet another series. I still haven’t finished Harry Potter from over three years ago.

Good grief, this book is so stressful and well written! I like the play from chapter to chapter. You just have to read it to experience how well put together it is.

The first few pages were a slow start, and then BOOM! The story took off, and I went from page 16 to 74 today. There’s two stories alternating chapters, and I’m way into both!

Almost done, and I’m so glad I read this book. One last issue to tie up, and then, we’ll see how it ends.

This is really getting interesting! The godmother, the dust-wife, Fenris. Man, I wish I could see notes on these characters and learn their backstories.

Cool cool! Now they’ve picked up a “fairy godmother.” She’s not a very strong one, so it’ll be interesting to see how this story plays out. I’m convinced Fenris knows more than he’s letting on.

NOW I have an interesting character. I’m interested in Fenris’ background and why he’s so secretive, yet is obviously a trained warrior. I’m beginning to see the little party getting together, and I’m enjoying the book much more now. The Goblin Market on has been much more interesting.

The story is interesting, but strange. I’m not so sure about the “darkly funny” part in one of the reviews on the back, and I’m trying to understand how Marra came to be a rogue, but we’ll see.

Does this book ever get better? I swear they talk like old men in a barbershop. Swearing left and right just to get some swearing in. People know they CAN actually talk without swearing all the time, right?

I’m enjoying the book enormously, but I find little errors here and there that could have been caught. “Eight people were injured. Five were male, and two were female.” 🤔 Nevertheless, I’m still liking the overall story. I find that I want to get to the end, but I also am waiting for the author to pull a switch on me. Someone I think is innocent will probably be the villain.

I’m still enjoying it. There’s supposed to be 6 traveling together, but there’s only 5, and how does Bran figure into all this? There’s more to him than meets the eye.

The time travel happens in the blink of a line in the book and is interesting to keep track of. I’m enjoying the books, but should probably pay more attention as I read.

The time travel is very interesting in these books. It’s like line to line, and must have been really hard to keep track of for the author. I’m enjoying it.

Bro, this is GORGEOUS! A little jumpy because lines have to be cut out to make it fit the graphic novel format, but I can still follow what’s going on. For any fan of the chapter book, I’d recommend this.

Merriman is back in this one, but the kids aren’t. It seems to have been a big time skip. Anyhow, Will is the sign gatherer. It’s strange how he keeps time hopping to gather signs. It’s also almost like the first book isn’t connected at all to this one. It’ll be interesting to see how they come together.

I’m hooked on this story, and they still haven’t revealed what Great Uncle Merry really is.
