It’s rare that I find myself wanting to read a book if I saw the movie first... the surprise is wasted. Not this one though. Such compelling artwork. Storyline has Some similarities to I Kill Giants in many ways and both came about similar timing.

My first ebook reading on my ipad! this was recommended to me because of the Alan Bradley's Flavia de Luce series which I really like. I downloaded it because it takes place in the area we were camping in and I thought it would be a nice touch to read it on my camping trip. I'm really enjoying it so far.

The beginning of this novel blew me away, but I ended up shelving it 3 times over the next 300 pages for lack of time, interest, whatever. A year after my first attempt I think I am finally hooked and I can't wait to see what happens in the second half.
