I really hate the heroine. To be fair, I expected to not like her. I hate when the heroine decides to “expose” the bad guys, and don’t even consider that those bad guys could come back at her in a serious way. That, to me, is TSTL. Also, she immediately determines the accused is guilty. Finally, don’t reporters realize that if the police department hasn’t released information that there may be a reason?

My Kindle Voyage is on it’s last legs. Does anyone know if and when Amazon plans to unveil and start selling new 2018 Kindle models? I’m trying to hold on til then, but the charging outlet on the Kindle itself is soooo loose that’s it’s almost impossible to keep it charging, plus my battery doesn’t last all day anymore.

Can’t do it anymore. I’m 7% in and there has been barely any dialogue. I’m bored.... I’m so disappointed because I loved her MC series.

I’m having trouble getting over the fact that Gaetan has 3 BEDSLAVES! He also wants a legacy to leave his children whenever he has some but he ALREADY HAS KIDS WITH HIS BEDSLAVES! Aside from this I really like the book. It’s interesting and easy to read. I don’t know if I should just chalk this up to “this is just how things were back then and the author is staying true to history” or if I want to throw in the towel.

DNF @ 49%. This book is in serious need of a decent editor. It needs more dialogue, too. It's my personal opinion that not enough dialogue leads to loss of interest, which leads to me skimming through paragraphs. If I'm going to skim through page after page of a book, I may as well just give it up.

I'm so happy that she's finally away from her annoying, selfish-ass "family". I hope we get to find out how they're doing later on in the book. I hope each one of them is falling apart. Poor Daniel.

Someone please tell me that this book gets better. I really want to like it. I was hoping that this author would be similar to my favorite male MC/boxer writer but I'm not feeling the characters. Too much jumping back and forth in time. Not enough interaction between the H and h to feel the connection. I feel the connection between him and Abby more than him and Ana. Please save this book for me! HELP!

I'm only 17% into this book. Please tell me that Chace get better cuz so far he's run hot and cold and the cold is COLD. Like Tate in Sweet Dreams, he calls the h fat but does Tate one better and tells Faye that she's fat TO HER FACE! He later basically tells her that she's an inexperienced waste of his time. When she finally calls him on it he agrees that he's an ass but NEVER APOLOGIZES AND SHE'S OK WITH THAT! WTF?
