i needed a good book after the last few I read, and this is hitting the spot.

Woefully disappointing.

Plot holes, terrible worldbuilding, and an idiot for a main character make this book an absolute slog.

I am only 17% into this book and I have cried so many times, near full on heaving sobs - this author has a talent for devastating descriptions you can feel, and this book is incredibly powerful as a result.

I'm so confused as to why this has people in a chokehold - it's so poorly written and the fmc made an icky comment about inner city schools within the first 10 pages, AND the mmc is obnoxious and quite literally sends the fmc and unsolicited shirtless pic to manipulate her into tutoring him???
