It’s like every romantasy trope ever conceived is being forced into this book and none of it is being done well lol

i literally cannot buy that these two are into each other, my god the chemistry is so cold

the thing about this book that's utterly terrifying is that i could see schools assigning something as cruel as this in 2023

I'm barely into this book, but the resources and knowledge shared is so meaningful and i feel it so personally, that I think i've cried five times in the first chapter.

the first time I read this book, I found myself identifying with addie. now on my third (fourth maybe?) reread, henry's chapters are like a gut punch. he's my character, no question about that

this is straight up one of the coolest books i've ever read

i think i now know that i strongly dislike mysteries that are going to be a part of a series. too much character development, not enough plot goodness
