i keep getting frustrated with these stories because i really enjoy them right up until the end where the author practically looks to camera and explains everything. it’s like she doubts that she’s done an adequate job conveying the message she wanted, so she holds your hand near the end just to really make sure you got it. it’s okay (and encouraged) to make the reader ponder
