Some images I cannot unconjure in my mind. This is just plain depressing and distressing. And now my lungs hurt.

Normally not doing updates this much but I must state for the record that I CALLED IT!! Freakin cloned Adrius. Holiday is def alive. And Harmony is indeed the Red Hand. Now I bet cash $$ that Cassius is the man Kavax sent to save Darrow. How poetic. Is Pierce becoming predictable in his writing, or am I just catching on to his patterns???

I've been duly warned that this is indeed "dark...." and boy oh boy I fear for how it can get worse from this point.

Man at this point the story is just bumming me out. Some really exciting developments though. Just really should have remembered the many warnings I received to not get attached to anyone. Boo. I’m gonna be sad at the end of this, I fear

Boy is this ramping up. Nervous. Excited. Curious. The positives I hear about this series are so far well en force.

Took me long enough to read this one. It took more brain to really think about the content than I expected, but a fun take on life being told through the letters of demons/tempters.

A great introduction to Kristin Hannah! Excited to read her other works. This one drew me in instantly as WWII stories typically do but the depth of the lives of the people in this story she crafted is nothing short of impressive. The last third of the book had me itching to get to the next page and the words printed on the pages got so blurry it was so weird.
