Wonderfully surreal story of a woman, Lenore, who worked as a caregiver for a woman, now deceased. Rickert's eye for the details that catch your eye helps draw you into Lenore's peculiar world.
2. For Sale by Owner, by Elizabeth Hand
A group of older friends find out they have a common penchant for trespassing on empty vacation homes. The ending still gives me chills.

Really enjoying this book thus far, especially regarding the history of numbers and people's interpretations of them.

Amazing array of stories, each very different than the one before.

First story began well enough. The author's style is fluid and grammatically correct; that being said, the story lacked that spark that makes you care about the characters.
