at times i thought this book was getting a bit dull but then it picks back up again. enjoying it so far

i’m already obsessed. this is exactly the type of book that most people hate and i can’t get enough of … cleopatra and frankenstein, ghana must go vibes … character study type shit. i also really loved kiley reid’s last book so im not surprised

so good. a masterclass in building tension even with an ensemble of characters

a fantastic audiobook, so good at building tension even when the plot hasn’t fully picked up yet

slow boiling dread. also i didn’t need to know that much about the house :(
