Very disappointed to find out the narrator is different1 Not sure why I didn't pay attention to that. Completely changes the way the book sounds and feels. But will carry on bravely ;-)

I am constantly fighting the urge get books out from the library when I have a gazillion books at home to read. This caught my eye but the tone and style is just not for me so rather than push through I stopped reading.

I tried numerous times to finish this book and couldn't. It wasn't that the book wasn't interesting, it was in many ways. But it was a matter of the concentration and time commitment required to finish and get something out of the book. 135 pages in (and having reread half a dozen chapters), I just decided it wasn't worth it.

Picked this up at a library sale for a couple of bucks. Decided to check it out to see just how mystical it was having seen the four agreements listed online numerous times...

Another long book I am struggling to finish. Over a quarter of the way through this "classic" and am still not sure where this story is going.

This is the year of unfinished books! I am not sure I am going to finish this as it is vulgar and doesn't seem to be going anywhere. It is short so maybe I will just power through. But not my type of book.

I think I have lost my ability to read long books. This is my second time trying to get into this book and it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere...

Trying to find ways to listen to this in longer chunks so I can finish it.

Started this but found it slow going, but have picked it up again while recovering from COVID and making faster progress.

I am not finding this particularly funny. Odd, yes, funny? Not so much. Not sure I will finish.

Did not finish. Sadly, decided to return this to the library as I just couldn't get into it. Might be my mood which is admittedly finicky these days...

Do you have to read all the appendices of Dune to mark the book as "Read"? Asking for a friend...

Decided to push through and finish this book this year.

I really loved this series when I was younger so decided to revisit it. So far my reaction has been “meh”...

I have tried to get into this book on both the Kindle and in audiobook and just can't. Some beautiful language and evocative descriptions but I still am unclear where it is all going. Just not my style; at least right now.

Interesting in some ways but just too much of the same ephemeral/existential thing. Didn't have the energy to finish.

If you end up reading 100 books in a year but the last half dozen are short fiction and graphic novels is that cheating? Asking for a friend ...
