I love the writing, although the jumping around in time, and the number of characters that are followed can be a little confusing, but I'm not sure how else it could have been written and still maintained the mystery.

I love Ruthie's writing but this book is hitting some major buttons for me that is making me hate the heroine.

As someone who has needed speech therapy herself, I really like how Ruthie is handling Sean's fear of speaking in front of Katie. The whole "substitute an easy word for a hard word" is still a method I use.

Really good so far (not surprising since Shiloh's a master at her craft), and since the heroine is an author, it's that much more scary...

Getting into it enough that I am reading it in bed in the dark on my iPad and Braden has definitely grown on me...this author has a way of writing emotion that makes the reader ache along with the characters

Braden is still an asshat who I want to kick in his overly smug nads

Reading on my iPad so guessing at the page number. The first half of the book had me laughing out loud. Now it is post 9/11 and Allesia wrote a letter to her deployed husband the is so moving. I cannot put this book down...
