I thought I could handle the pregnancy trope, I was wrong.

While I really liked the first book in this series, April is an annoying, whiny, stupid child. I have no idea what Reno sees in her & I legitimately can't wait for this book to be over.

I'm calling it Quits! DNF at 24%

Unfortunately it just got worse and worse. Bad writing, constant grammar errors, and finally the "Plot Break" 🙄

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm so bored!!!! Also, how many times do I have to say that I hate the pregnancy trope?

Kali just heard her message and crap! I can't stop crying. I 100% did not expect this much emotion from this book.

Who knew a smutty romance would make me cry! Man, this one gives me all the feels.

Had to put this one away for now. I'm so busy with the Holidays I don't have time to read and the Male narrator of the audiobook just isn't tolerable.

For the love of a Norse god, could this thing be any slower? I've had to reread entire pages over and over because this isn't holding my attention at all. So disappointed because the concept is great, but the execution is excruciating.

This is getting harder and harder to finish. I've had to tell myself it is an alternate universe comic book world to keep going.

Private citizens running police investigations, the majority of the public acting contrary to how they actually would, and my favorite part is that trauma, triggers, and coping mechanisms follow no logic or pattern. Getting through book 3 might take all my will power.
