Gripping from the start. Reading such intimate details of the author’s life feels a little unsettling to me -- but I can't look away...

Not even halfway and just can’t get myself to pick it back up.The book is trying to be Divergent with a magic aspect. Lacks substance.

Chapter 28 and 29. No words, just tears. Will stick with me for the rest of my life. 😩

Wonderful and easy to digest — includes simple exercises.

I'm taking it slow and really absorbing this story. I'm so in love with this book so far -- quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I’ve accepted the mindbody connection earlier this year as I was dealing with debilitating chronic pain (pain free now!) but I love, love love reading and learning more about it all. The brain is so so powerful. Alan Gordon’s ‘The Way Out’ is a perfect introduction to the mindbody connection. A little humor and uncomplicated prose. *chefs kiss*

The second half of this book is a snooze. Bummed and disappointed.
