Reading for YA Lovers R4R!

New r4r from the David Estes community!! Very excited to start. :)

Rape trigger warning. This is also a major turning point in the book and with the character.

Another read-for-review! This time I received erotica. It's been awhile since I've read some good smut! The first 10 pgs scared me at first, but all was fine. If you like your sex vanilla, this probably isn't the book for you.

The lack of world building is confusing.

Why am I still reading this series?

Alex is still annoying, Aiden is still swoon-worthy

Still find Alex annoying. Also, the plot "twists" are 95% predictable.

I really hate Alex. I find her very annoying and childish.

Love the suspense and action, but I can't help thinking this isn't going to age well given to very current trends and lingo used. It might be one of those books that our grandkids read and laugh at how we used to talk.

End of chapt 16 - finally!! So perfect; made my heart flutter. <3

Love the main character so far. Good seeing a female in YA that isn't a complete push over. The speaking style used ("hafta", unique slang) took awhile to get used to but fine now.

Only reading Northanger Abby; closest listing I could find. This book is dragging SO MUCH, and I usually enjoy this genre! Going to put it to the side and come back to it later.
