Not enjoying this book greatly. It will be a struggle to finish it in time for my real-time book group on Thursday, when I am supposed to make meaningful and scintillating comments... *sigh*

So far, this novel isn't grabbing me. I find Peggy to be a bit tiresome.

Making very slow progress with this memoir. Just doesn't grab me.

Have to read this for my real-time Book Club. Not enjoying it so far, except for the wonderful portrayal of Mrs Sivan. There's a lot of pretentious twaddle from Goldsworthy. How did she remember conversations in such extensive detail from her childhood? But then again, she reminds us often that she is very intelligent, and her father was sitting in the background of each lesson making notes...weird IMHO.

Still enjoying this book, but a little bit OVER all the 'Father Ralph is so special, he's not an ordinary man' palaver.

Really enjoying this re-read of a book I first read in about 1980. But, oh dear, the font is so fine and small, my eyes are struggling...slowing me down :(

Really enjoying this book, but the ordeal of moving house has interfered with my reading. Time to put aside, and regroup, when I am able to concentrate properly again.

My first attempt at a Di Morrissey book and I'm greatly enjoying it so far...

Rarely have I disliked a character as intensely as I loathe Bobby Blue, the narrator of this story. I've detached from the narrative while I deal with my reactions to this unpleasant person. I may never get back to the story...

Loving this second instalment of the Convict Girls series.

This is an engrossing book about two families living in a hardscrabble town in rural North Dakota in the Depression era. There's not a lot of action, but interesting characters and intriguing episodes. I'm loving it.

Not a Jack Irish novel. Interesting bush characters, so well written. I'm loving this Peter Temple novel.
