Funny and sweet, easy read, sometimes poignant.

His commentaries are growing on me. Poems are outstanding!

Still strong.

The occasionally ridiculous similes and metaphors are worth it for the rest of the rich rich writing and inner and outer world revealing.

How is it I had never read this? Listening, and in love. Moved onto make sure to read list after reading Roy’s memoir late last year, which I am sure only accentuates the reading.

Great poems! I am finding I like his taste, and shorter reflections, but not the longer commentaries as much. 🤷🏼‍♀️
