coming back 9 hours later to say that i finished alchemised, wrote that review, tried to go about my day, and then 10 minutes later started crying. i just want to be clear that i was not being hyperbolic. i was useless all day today. i am going through something so unspeakable.

"The medieval period is usually considered to be from 1066 to 1485." given that i major in medieval studies and have never heard anything close to this frame, this is not a confidence inspiring statement lmfao. i genuinely cannot work out how she came to the conclusion that the middle ages began with (presumably?) the norman conquest, which was actually a solid 590 years after the actual conventional date (~476 CE).
