The chapter on sleep has never made me more excited about sleep. She reviews and concurs w/ a lot of recent research.

Thank you Library Libby for my free e-book loan back home! After a long wait, this e-book became available while on vacay. It’s been enjoyable and informative although superfluous at times. Once you get Fadal’s flow you can navigate her narrative depending on what you’re looking for - gritty anecdotes, just the facts, positive affirmations, interviews, healthy ‘recipes’/recipes for disaster, etc.

The news of assault allegations is incredibly disconcerting. It’s a shame we lose the Good Omens and Sandman series; the play, Coraline, is being pulled in the UK; and the movie for this book has been shut down. As a friend said, “For now, I will separate the art from the artist. I will not box up the knowables and unknowables; however, I have resigned to placing them all at the bottom of my book shelf.”

I think I found my new AM/PM quick dopamine fix thru suspense. NYT daily puzzles (Wordle 🙌) you can finish in 10 min + 5-10 min chapters of Gaiman Jr Fiction. Turn off the news. It’s gonna be a long four years and daily escape is critical. (Note: last 17 pages saved til tomorrow’s work desk ☕️)
