Okay, now this is my humor. 👻

The setting is basically our world, plus witches try to fight climate change while the non-magic people keep proliferating climate destruction that causes major storms.

Teenage FMC has the most power of her generation and doesn't want to use it because it has killed people she loves. It's set in a magical academy that wants to force FMC to use her power to...save the whole world, how dare they. Very angsty.

Definitely a page turner! Stayed up reading 146 pages the first night 😅

DNF. I don't recommend the audiobook

DNF 40%.

Well, the audiobook (particularly the male narrator) is AWFUL. The character is supposed to be a "golden retriever / oak tree" type, but the narrator delivers every line like a *creepy* villain. And the closer the love interests get, the more I realize I don't want them to get together. With this premise, maybe forgiveness and self growth would be interesting, but not a romantic relationship.
Probably will DNF it.
