This is tough to slog through. It reminds me of Die Hard where each following sequel raises the stakes exponentially until you're just so blase about it all. I mean, FBI agents invading Cuba? And what are the odds that Aiden would end up in the exact financial firm that the bad guy is targeting? And then get caught? Ugh.

I'm finding this one oddly and disappointingly predictable. I already knew who Lisa was dating almost from the beginning and the whole Laura and Richie "secret" is super obvious.

Not a fan of the non-linear storytelling. None of the plots have really gone anywhere so far. I'm waiting for the story to start.

This book seems to want to be some sort of comment on society, using sexual slavery as the mechanism, but it's very confused about the good guys vs. the bad guys. Marco is bad, but not too bad, Derek is the hero, but he's not very heroic. Derek gets raped, but banters about philosophy during the act, then puts the moves on someone else who said no. The book wants to make a statement, but isn't sure how to speak.

Man, this needs a stronger edit. Lots of little plot details that contradict each other, and some of the sex scene writing is just silly. ("Interior muscles"? Because there's such a thing as exterior muscles?)

The flip-flopping POVs are driving me a little batty.

How do you have a floor to ceiling mirror on a dresser? There's really a bit of logic missing in this writing.

I'm not even sure I can finish this book - plot holes you could drive a cargo ship full of semi trailers through, and a main character who is so alpha that he's kinda repulsive.

How come the space station bosses aren't interrogating Cam more? You'd think they'd be in there asking him all the minutia of what happened to him when he was captured.

These characters are so wishy-washy.

Some of the logic and reasoning in this is ridiculous. A parent wouldn't not chase after their kid and find him after what just happened if he wasn't answering his phone.

Interesting concept, but rather simplistic writing style. A lot of dialogue, but not much description or emotion.

Kind of a mix of Alien, Terminator and Heat.

God, I'm loving this. It's the kind of book I don't want to put down.
