Okay, this book has *got* to blow up and become the next sensation. It is that good.

I've been with this for several weeks now. Determined to finish it today.

This is getting to be like Shawshank...like Good Lord I hope there's a happy ending!

Okay, the positive is: this novel is riveting.

The negative is: it's dense like Smoky Mountain cloud cover is dense, and it's taking me forEVER to read.

Also, I'm reminded of a time before trigger warnings. I'm thinking man, I'm just walking along, minding my own business, then WHAM!

This is keep-on-your-toes and on the edge of your seat reading. I completely understand how this guy was a Thriller writer.

I've had this on my bookshelf for decades. No joke. May be biting off more than I can chew. TBD...

My late aunt raved about this book and loaned me her copy years ago. When she passed, I gifted a number of her unread (by me) books to my cousin, along with this novel.

I found it again at a 4th of July vendor sale by a library and purchased a hardcover copy for $2. I think I'm meant to read this book.

"All the Light" was meh for me; maybe this novel will move me differently. <3

Is it weird to read your own stories? I don't think so. If I didn't love them, how could I expect anyone else to?

I have a few new-to-me books in the TBR pile, but none are speaking to me at the moment. So here we go old friend.
