A great adventure for kids.

Oh my, this story is not for the faint of heart…

I appreciate a novel that starts the story and builds the world as the character walks through it. I immediately sympathized and rooted for Rin and became intrigued with her decisions. I’m enjoying the book immensely.

Im racing to finish it! I love a good adventure and I am loving the characters’ development. Each character is working through their own social and racial biases while living within a system that depends on the current prejudices to maintain status quo. I’m already thinking about book 2!

The story is well paced. There are a lot of characters, but they are all interesting. There’s action and intrigue.

I love a book that starts out with some excitement! The main character is likable and draws you in. At each moment of the story the author provides enough context to understand the moment and simultaneously build the world. I’m enjoying this book!

This is a good book for kids, entertaining for adults. It’s wonderful to think about people who found freedom.

I am enjoying the book. I love a female protagonist that learns she has more to offer the world. The pacing matches the character development and the world building. All of the characters are relatable and many are likable. There are moments of humor and a few plays on words. It’s engaging and I’m so glad I’m reading this!
